Anger
Anger
Unresolved fire burns inside. Acknowledge this energy without being consumed by it, and it will become fuel for change.
The Fire That Teaches
The ancient Vedic texts did not ask us to be rid of anger — they asked us to understand it. Cell Three on the Lila path is the square of the untamed inner fire, and it holds this position early in the journey because the ego, barely formed, is the most easily threatened. Anger, in its raw form, is information: something you value has been violated, something you need has been ignored. The fire itself is not the enemy.
The question Lila asks here is what you do with the blaze. Anger suppressed does not disappear — it goes underground and reappears as resentment, self-sabotage, or illness. Anger expressed without consciousness harms both the speaker and the receiver and deepens the original wound. But anger witnessed — felt fully, named clearly, and then channelled — becomes one of the most powerful energies available to a human being.
Right now, something has activated your fire. This landing is an invitation to sit with the heat long enough to ask: what is this anger protecting? Beneath every wave of anger is a grief, a fear, or a boundary that was not honoured. Find that thing, and you find the real work.
The practical step: write down what you are angry about without editing yourself. Then write: what do I care about so much that this situation has the power to hurt me? That second answer is your gold.
My fire is a sacred teacher, and I listen to what it is telling me.
