Generosity

Every wisdom tradition on earth has placed generosity near the centre of its teaching, and the Lila is no exception. Cell Eleven is a square of violet light — the colour of the higher chakras, of the energy that moves upward toward unity. Generosity is understood here not primarily as an ethical act but as a cosmological alignment: when you give, you demonstrate your trust that the source is not going to run dry. You declare, with your hands if not with your words, that you are part of a flowing system rather than a closed one.

The deepest form of generosity is not financial — it is the gift of genuine attention, of honest presence, of seeing someone clearly and letting them know they have been seen. This kind of giving has no cost in resource and infinite return in connection.

Arriving at Cell Eleven asks: where in your life have you been withholding? This might be warmth in a relationship, full effort in your work, or credit that belongs to someone else. The withholding is never protecting you as much as it feels like it is.

The practical invitation is simple: give something today that you would not normally give, to someone who is not expecting it, with no expectation of return. Notice how you feel in your body in the moment of giving.
