Passion

Cell Fourteen burns orange and gold — the colours of agni, the sacred fire that transforms everything it touches. Passion, as the Lila understands it, is not the heated emotion of new romance but the enduring inner fire that makes a person come fully alive in the doing of a particular thing. This is the state Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi called flow and the mystics called seva — total, joyful absorption in meaningful action.
