What does dreaming of Moon mean?
The moon in dreams complements rather than contrasts the sun. Jung saw it as the image of a different kind of knowing β receptive, cyclical, attuned to what only becomes visible in lower light. A dream-moon typically marks the part of inner life that the daytime self has trouble holding without distortion. The phase of the moon often clarifies the message. A full moon can mark the visibility of feelings usually kept more private; a waning or absent moon may point to a quieting, a turning inward, or a temporary loss of intuitive access. In dream language the moon is rarely romantic in the simple sense; it more often speaks of the rhythms one cannot rush. To dream of the moon often invites a softer attention to what changes in oneself across weeks rather than hours, and to honour those changes rather than override them.
