What does dreaming of Bridge mean?
Bridges in dreams stand at the heart of transition. Jung described the bridge as a paradigm of the psyche's movement between states β what was and what is not yet, conscious and unconscious, one identity and another. The image carries both passage and risk; one is no longer on familiar ground, but not yet on the new one. Whether the bridge is solid, narrow, swaying, or incomplete usually carries the meaning. Crossing a stable bridge in dream language may suggest that an inner movement has reached the moment when it can be taken. A fragile or breaking bridge may reflect a transition that the conscious mind is asking of itself before the underlying ground has fully prepared. Pausing on a bridge, rather than crossing it, may simply mark a stage of being suspended between two truths. The image rarely demands haste. More often it invites the dreamer to notice which bank they are on, where they are looking, and what is calling from the other side.
