How to add a free tarot widget to your Shopify store

Works on all Shopify plans. Perfect for spiritual product stores, crystal shops, and tarot-deck sellers looking to increase dwell-time and collect emails.

Steps

1. From Shopify admin, go to Online Store → Themes → Customize.
2. Pick a page (home, collection, or product page).
3. Click "Add section" → "Custom Liquid".
4. Paste the snippet from /embed into the Liquid field.
5. Save. The widget appears on your storefront.
6. Alternative: edit theme.liquid directly (Actions → Edit code → Layout/theme.liquid) and paste the <script> tag before </head> - the loader is then global.

Platform-specific tips

• If your theme has lazy-load for images, the widget will still render - it manages its own lifecycle.
• For product pages: pair "Tarot Card of the Day" with your best-selling deck to create "preview your deck" UX.
• Use UTM in your Shopify Analytics to track widget-driven conversions.
