Jupiter

Gemini 14°

Expansion of thought. New connections and conversations that broaden your map of the world. A good period for learning, writing, and making contact.

Saturn

Pisces 18°

Structure in the intangible. Saturn asks you to solidify your spiritual and emotional boundaries - making real what was previously only intuition.

Mercury

Aries 6°Retrograde

Review and slowdown. Not the moment to sign contracts or launch new projects. It is the moment to revise, edit, renegotiate, and finish what is incomplete.

Planetary Transits Today - What the Live Sky Is Telling You Right Now

Astrology has two modes. The natal chart is the map of who you are - a fixed snapshot of the sky at the exact moment you were born. Transits are the ongoing conversation between that fixed map and the moving sky above you right now. The planets never stop. They keep cycling, and every time one of them crosses a sensitive point in your natal chart, something shifts.

What Transits Actually Are

A transit is simply a planet''s current position in relation to your natal chart - or, in this reading, its current position in the sky available to everyone. When Jupiter is at 14 degrees of Gemini, that placement is active for all of us. What it means for each person specifically depends on where 14 Gemini falls in their individual chart. But the general signal of Jupiter in Gemini - expansion of thinking, increased appetite for information and communication, a good period for writing, teaching, and making connections - operates as a backdrop for everyone.

Retrograde periods intensify this. When Mercury stations retrograde, the planetary energy inverts: instead of moving forward into new communication and new agreements, it turns inward. Old messages resurface. Plans made during Mercury retrograde often need revisiting later. This is not superstition; it is the observed pattern of what happens when the archetype of Mercury turns backward in the sky.

How to Read the Daily Snapshot

The transit reading here shows each major planet''s current sign, degree, and retrograde status, plus a short authored note on what that placement is generating. Read the planets in order of speed: the Moon changes signs every 2.5 days and tells you about the emotional texture of today and tomorrow. Mercury, Venus, and Mars move faster and describe the current week or month. Jupiter and Saturn operate across months to years and describe the larger backdrop of the period you are in. Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto move so slowly they describe generational territory - but their retrogrades and sign changes still have real weight.

The Moon Phase

The Moon''s phase each day is not decorative information. New Moon phases favor starting things: new projects, new conversations, seeds of any kind. Full Moons bring things to completion, intensity, and revelation - what has been building reaches its peak. Waning phases are for release and consolidation. The Moon moves through the entire zodiac in approximately 28 days, visiting each sign for about 2.5 days. When the Moon is in your own Sun sign or Moon sign, you will often feel more visible, more energized, or more emotionally activated than usual.

Using the Retrograde Notes

When a planet lists as retrograde, do not treat it as a stop sign. Treat it as a direction signal: the energy of that planet is better used in review, revision, and reconsideration than in new launches. Mercury retrograde is famous, but Saturn retrograde is often more significant for long-term planning. Saturn retrograde (which happens for about four months every year) is an excellent time to restructure commitments, renegotiate responsibilities, and do the work of consolidation that forward Saturn often rushes past.
