What does dreaming of Door mean?
Doors in dream imagery mark thresholds, and Jung paid close attention to thresholds because they are where psychological movement happens. A door is rarely a simple architectural detail; it is the place where one decides, often with little conscious deliberation, whether to remain in the known or step into what has not yet been entered. Whether the door is open, locked, hidden, or appears unexpectedly tends to point to the dreamer's current relationship with change. An open door may suggest readiness for a passage that has been quietly preparing itself. A locked or jammed door in dream language may reflect a part of life that the conscious mind is not yet ready to enter, even though something in the psyche is curious. The image rarely commands action. More often it invites the dreamer to notice which doors keep appearing, what waits on the other side, and whether the threshold itself deserves to be honoured before it is crossed.
