Your Ritual Guide For the Scorpio Ember Amulet · No. 47

Every amulet is finished in our workshop under the waxing moon. Follow these three rites to waken, place and tend to yours - or let intuition lead you elsewhere.

I.Activation

To waken the amulet

The amulet sleeps until you call it. Do this on the first night you meet — ideally on a waxing crescent, somewhere the moon can see you. A small candle is enough. A cup of tea is enough. Your intention is the instrument.

  1. i.Cleanse. Pass the amulet three times through the smoke of palo santo, cedar or sage. Count the breaths, not the seconds.
  2. ii.Name the vow. Hold it over the candle flame (not in it). Speak aloud, three times, what you are calling in. The amulet listens only to the unhidden.
  3. iii.Seal. Anoint the reverse side with a single drop of dragon's blood oil. Wipe with linen. Wear.

II.Placement

Where it rests

Between wearings, return the amulet to a small altar — a windowsill will do. It should see the moon most nights. Do not store in closed boxes; brass wants air. These three things make a home for it:

  1. ·A bowl of unrefined salt, changed monthly.
  2. ·A sprig of dried rosemary or yarrow, replaced with each new moon.
  3. ·One handwritten word — the vow — folded beneath the bowl.
CHARGE monthly

III.Charging Schedule

The moon cycle

The amulet aligns most clearly with the Scorpio moon. If that is far away, any fixed night under a waxing or full moon will do. Place outside, or on a sill facing east, and let it drink.
